Acoustic Wind-Tunnel Gantry

Multi axis servo system commanded by LabView interface.  A probe gantry weighing 15 tonnes is rapidly positioned by four powerful Rockwell brushless servos under the command of a National Instruments PC based motion controller.  Micromech Systems supplied the servo control module shown together with special belt-driven actuators for the linear motion up to 41 feet in length with 6KN force.
