Servo driven system with multi CCD camera monitoring.  A Two-Axis Motion Controller is employed to manage all of the functions of this print-proofing machine.  The main cylinder must be accurately aligned to within microns for plate mounting.  The positions must also be repeatable.  Once all plates are mounted the assembled cylinder can be simply installed in the main printing press with minimum set-up time.
